Michael Brick was a teacher and artist born in 1946. He studied at Newcastle University and later taught there in the School of Arts and Cultures.
Brick’s practise comprised paintings and prints with minimalist influence and this work has appeared in exhibitions and group shows at John Moores, Liverpool in 1978 and the Newcastle Group show The Northern Lights, at DLI Museum & Arts centre, Durham in 1990.
Examples of his work are included in the British Council Collection, Arts Council Collection and Contemporary Art Society.
He lived and worked in Cambridge.
