About the artist:

“My background has always been in printmaking. I did a degree in Anglia Ruskin University specialising in printmaking.  It’s always been part of what I’ve done even since I was a kid,” he says. “After University, I managed to get a placement at the Curwen Studio in Cambridgeshire, which is a fine art print makers, which specialise in working with artists to make limited edition prints, especially lithographic, but more specifically stone-litho and plate-litho (traditional processes).”

At Curwen, Martin’s role was to support artists, help them proof images and give suggestions about colour mixing. He also spent a long time working on editioning prints in small numbers of 50-75 that the artists would sign and sell.
